Special Assessment Status -

The HOA Board has proposed having a special assessment for 2017 of $100 to support major enhancements to the community's  front entrance. A the Special Assessment meeting, the proxies of proxies and attendees was not sufficient to have a quorum. The agreement between the Board members and the attendees were the Board would review a suggested alternative design and get information assuring that the HOA had legal access to the structures at the front entrance. The Board expects to call for a for another special assessment meeting after the two items is questions have been resolved.

In the interim, homeowners who have not submitted their special assessment proxy are encouraged to do so.  Proxies are available under the "Scheduled HOA Meetings" section on this webpage.  If you have any questions, please use the Contact Us" to submit your questions or concerns.

Homeowner Assessment Fees for 2017 -   The Board of Directors has set the 2017 annual assessment at $250. Payment in full is due on March 1, 2017.  Payments not received by March 15 will incur a late fee of $15 or 10 percent of the current assessment, whichever is greater. Please make all checks or money orders  payable to the "Woodmore Highlands HOA,"  Payment should be mailed to:

Board Members Assigned Areas - Board members have specific addresses to monitor with the objectives of  (1)keeping residents informed about HOA activities and  (2)  being aware when houses are for sale, abandoned, or changing residents.  Click on HOA Board Assigned Areas to identify the Board member assigned to your location.

Go  Green Initiative - The HOA is starting a program to reduce the amount of paper used and  money spent on mailings to homeowners.   To effective administer this program, the HOA needs to get authorizations from homeowners who agree to receive their correspondence, such as meeting notifications, assessment billings, and newsletter via email.  Please click on the "Go Green Initiative form" complete this form and send to the HOA.  Homeowners may attach the completed form to the email under "Contact Us."

Pay Assessments Online
Pay Assessments Online - Woodmore Highlands has established an Online Payment Program for Homeowners who want to pay their Assessment Fees with a major credit card. The Online Payment Program has been setup with PayPal which accepts credit and debit cards from Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, etc. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use this service. PayPal does charge a processing fee for each transaction that must be paid by the homeowner.  Only registered website users can use this program. Homeowners who want more information on rates and instructions should click on “Link.”

Scheduled HOA Meetings

The monthly HOA meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Bowie City Hall,  15901 Excalibur, Room 201; Bowie, MD 20718. If you have any items for the agenda, please send your items by February 18, 2017  using the "Contact Us" feature in the website.  Select send to the "HOA Board Members." All homeowners are welcome to attend.


Below is information from the January 26, 2017 Annual Business meeting and Special Assessment discussion. Please click on January 26, 2017 Meeting Presentation to view the briefing slides used during the meeting.  A couple of items were revised by the Board during the meeting. The Board decided to keep the 2017 annual assessment at $250  and the date for new special assessment meeting is pending until items on easements to front entrance lots and the appropriateness of downsizing the monument structures can be reviewed.
