Speed Calming Cameras on Dunwood Valley Drive
Slow Down
A speed calming camera was installed on Dunwood Valley Drive in early January 2024.  The speed limit is 25 mph - if you exceed the posted speed limit, you will eventually receive a ticket.

This is a major accomplishment for the community.  Cars are constantly speeding on DVD and there have been several accidents on the street.  For over 10 years the homeowners and HOA have been working diligently with the City Council and City Staff to make DVD safe.

This is an example of the City working with the community to address the community's concerns and needs.

First Day of the 2023-2024 School Year

The 2023-2024 school year has begun.  Good luck on a successful school year to all of the students in Woodmore Highlands.  What a beautiful picture of our future leaders!

Thank you to the photographer Michael Doaks for capturing this moment.
